What’s cooking in GStreamer

Now that GStreamer 1.0 has finally been released, GStreamer developers have turned their attention again towards adding shiny new features and resolving some long-standing limitations.

This talk aims to provide an update on what’s been happening lately in GStreamer, introduce some of the new features that have been added recently and talk about what’s in the pipeline. Topics covered include hardware-accelerated video decoding, blu-ray playback, and many more.

The talk is targeted at both application developers and anyone interested in multimedia on the Linux desktop.
